POEM: The Eagle Way
I am an eagle,
Not meant to be chained,
Meant to fly,
Killing all embarrassments,
Fighting all insecurities,
Making all uncertainties bow,
But why is it happening now?
That my claw feels chained and wings at rest,
Though my eyes are pointed to where it is destined.
This craving for where I want to fly, Is eating my soul inside, I am certain its not safe there, Still the stubborn heart wants to try. This fire inside the heart wants to face, A few seconds of heart ache, Although it may bring death at that very moment. It thinks if somehow everything, Turns out to be something different, Like the eagle heart is hoping, If the fire I see from so far, Is actually a river of golden water, What if it turns out to be the heaven, I had longed for since long. I look at this chain and want to break free now, This may bring a few seconds of disappointment, But certainly an end to my curiosity,
And this pain I can't explain! Its rare, that I have taken so long to take off, And whenever I did, It brought a change for life..

Women Buying Bra
Women
Buying Bra
Let’s talk about it. Talk about it in a way that it never
remains a matter of embarrassment for the women kind to buy a bra. She should
be as comfortable as if she is buying a bouquet. Especially the teenagers, who
have just realised that their breasts are growing and they need to do something
about it, need to take care of it. To support those breasts, they need bras and
they need to buy it. Well, it’s not that simple, to go and buy a bra, like it
sounds. So, what is the problem in buying it? The answer is, the “eyes”! The eyes
of some sick and mentally unstable people are the reason behind it. Buying a
bra shouldn’t be difficult task like rocket science or something like that. It
is a necessary wear that a grown up girl needs for everyday use.
People might think, why suddenly, this thought of writing
about it came to my mind? Well, today, while I was passing by Ganeshguri area,
I saw three teenage girls stopping by a shop and checking out bras. They were
not comfortable, their faces were down, as if they were doing some crime. They
were not even looking at the salesman of the shop. They could see his cruel
smile as he was showing them the bras. And then my eyes fell on other people
around them. There was another shopkeeper in the opposite side of that
particular shop and he was staring at them. There was one fruit seller who has
stopped looking at his own customers and staring at those girls. There were two
other middle aged men who were passing by and they stopped and stood in a
corner to watch those bra buying girls. And that gave them a laugh. A boy,
teenager himself, have forgotten to walk on the footpath as his gaze fell on
the bras those girls were buying.
What on earth was going on! I wonder, do women keep staring
at men when they buy under wears. I am sure, not. And this is not a unique
story of those three teens. This is a common happening. It happens every day
with woman of all ages, in shops, malls, everywhere. There are some women who
have accepted this fact and they don’t really care. But why should it at all be
an issue disturbing women. Have men, not seen enough bras in movies, magazines
and now-a-days in hoardings and posters? Not to mention, they see it at their
homes if they have any female in their lives. I mean, what is a bra
(brassiere), it is a women’s undergarment for supporting the breasts. That’s
it! And it should be left to that. This word “Bra” is not illegal; it should be
spoken about openly. And if a girl finds a man staring at her while buying her
undergarments she should be bold enough to ask him if he needs one. Who knows,
that may bring some changes in those eyes! Some sick man shouldn’t be able to
make us feel uncomfortable. They don’t even know the complications that come
during the beginning stage of breast development and throughout the lives. And
they for sure forget to respect the fact that they grew feeding on them. When
one side of the world is talking serious about breast cancer, the scenario is
very shameful here.
